Are you looking for ways to better nourish your mind, body, and even your community?

Have you ever wondered if maybe your food supply was the place to start?

With food insecurity on the rise, and rising uncertainty about Federal funding for many food-related programs, EarthDance Organic Farm School in Ferguson is steadily inviting people to learn to grow food in community.

Their annual home-gardening course is coming right up! Spring Training for Gardeners runs March 12 through April 12, 2025. The 5-week course is offered on a pay what you can scale – meaning participants can pay nothing, take a discount, pay retail value, or pay more in solidarity with other local gardeners and learners.

The course includes 5 live-online sessions, with an option for local participants to join us for 3 hands-on Saturday workshops that include seed starting (take home the seedlings you pot!), bed building (for raised bed growing), and a work day in a nearby community garden and celebration lunch on the farm.

Spring Training is taught by knowledgeable farmer educators who specialize in growing healthy soil and abundant, diverse foods at scales ranging from container gardens to market farming.

Spring Training is meant for anyone ready to take their gardening skills to the next level–whether you’re a true beginner, or looking to increase your yields. Learn more at earthdancefarms.org/farmers/spring-training and consider joining EarthDance for one or all of the live-online classes from wherever you are, and in-person if you’re able to join at the farm on March 15 & 29, and April 12th.
